The Elco Lighting EL55ICA is a 5″ shallow aluminum IC airtight new construction housing designed for direct contact with ceiling insulation in residential and light commercial recessed lighting installations. It accepts a Medium Base (E26) socket with an adjustable bracket to accommodate PAR lamps of varying types and sizes for consistent lamp positioning. An integral thermal protector guards against improper lamping, and an included gasket ensures airtight performance at 120V. cUL Listed for damp location and feed-through wiring.
