The Elco Lighting EL27HE26 is a 6″ compact fluorescent vertical downlight housing for new construction recessed applications in residential and commercial ceilings. It accepts one vertically mounted CFL lamp with an integral ballast and features a 1-3/8″ ceiling thickness adjustment with captive hanger bars for 24″ joist spacing positionable at 90. The 7-1/2″ height allows use in 2×8 construction; the feed-through listed housing includes a thermal protector and is rated for 120/277V, cUL Listed for damp locations.
