Ribbon Statue

Artistry meets alchemy in our stand-out Ribbon Statue. In fashioning the piece’s looping profile, our artisans appear to have completely transformed the material’s metallic nature, giving it the look of gravity-defying lightness, effortless malleability and energetic movement. A raw, gold-leafed finish also adds to the magically alchemized effect, adding glittering refinement to the powerful iron. The result is a dramatic composition that embodies the graceful dance of a ribbon in air, with all the contrast of solid form and negative space. The bold sculpture sits atop a worthy pedestal of black marble, which lends itself to the piece’s monumental aura. The gilded, abstract work upgrades any space in need of a decorative accent, from desks and bookshelves to side tables or consoles.
