Walking Man Statue

Inspired by a famous Alberto Giacometti statue of the same name dating back to 1960, our Walking Man Statue revisits the artist’s familiar post-war silhouette in glittering, updated materials. A shining gold leaf finish and polished black marble base refresh the figure, lending the exaggerated, ultra-thin form a dynamic energy that complements his mid-stride stance. The raw textured surface and obscured features, however, maintain the intense human emotion of the original. When these elements combine, we achieve a swanky showpiece that’s rooted in art history. On a desk, side table, or bookcase, the Walking Man is sure to spark conversation, especially amongst seasoned collectors.
